Welcome! Resurrection OC is a place where you can let down all the hustle, your kids will have a great time, and you'll hear about how God loves you. This is the fuel for living in the fast pace of south Orange County. Here at ResOC, you can find a home.
WE'D LOVE TO GET TO KNOW YOU! THERE ARE THREE THINGS THAT ARE VITAL TO US AS A CHURCH:
GOSPEL -- We base our services around the good news of Jesus. He lived, died, and was raised so to set us free from sin and propel us into a life lived for God’s glory. We'd love for you to come and explore the gospel and feel out the implications, even if you're a bit wary of church.
VULNERABILITY -- The gospel allows us to be authentic people. We don't have to hide our brokenness. We seek to be a church that lives real life together: the good, the bad, the ugly. As we practice intentionally exposing ourselves to risk together, we point back to God alone who builds his church.
BEAUTY -- From the ocean to a pretty face, the suburbs of OC hunger for beauty. As we worship and meet together, we reflect a deeper beauty--the beauty of who God is. We get a little appetizer of God's heavenly provision when we love and care for each other, and as we extend ourselves in love for our community and neighborhoods.

Jason grew up a Cubs fan near Chicago but has spent the last 5 years falling in love with the west (3 in Utah, 2 in Orange County). He met his wife Karla at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, where they both graduated. Since he was a teenager, Jason has led music in churches and played in bands. Choosing to return to his passion, Jason left investment banking because of his love for the church and crafting music. Jason and Karla have 3 children: Jack, Charlotte and Lucy. His favorite things are cooking for his family, drinking really good coffee/beer, resting in a hammock and listening to Toad the Wet Sprocket.

Trevor is a California native that was raised up in Orange County and later moved to Santa Barbara County. This is where he met his best friend, and now wife, Noelle when he was 19 and the Lord has blessed them with two awesome kids, Benji and Abbey. Trevor earned a B.A. in Psychology and a Master of Divinity from Erskine Theological Seminary. Trevor loves interacting with all people, the quirkier the better, and is humbled to be able to serve Jesus’ church. Apart from the gospel, there is nothing he loves more than hanging out with his family and friends, being outside, or nurturing his obsession with reading. The Allens are partnering with Resurrection OC to gain experience serving in a church planting environment and plan to launch a new church in a few years!

We are proud to be part of the RUF Church Planting Network. As a church plant with limited infrastructure, we lean on RUF to provide invaluable support in networking, training, and administration.
We are a new church, but we are not making things up as we go--we stand on the shoulders of our Christian brothers and sisters who have gone before us. We are guided by the Westminster Confession of Faith, a biblically rich statement of faith that aims to point us to the overwhelming majesty of God in all things. These documents have instructed biblically faithful churches for hundreds of years.
Officially connected with 2,000 other churches across the country, our relationship with the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) provides our new congregation with a sense of rootedness. Rather than being lead by a personality or a mob-mentality, these connections assure our congregation that their pastor and other leaders are accountable.
